NOTE: I do NOT play this game. In fact, I don't understand why it's so popular and when I tried playing it, I was so onfused I got frustrated and shut it off.

Online, I saw people saying Minecraft is only for "boys" and that "girls shouldn't play it." Fucking sexist pigs...

Minecraft, from what I can gather, is gender neutral (even though Steve is a boy, like that fucking counts). I know several girls who play this game, in RL and online. In fact, since Minecraft is made of blocks and is gender neutral, saying that it's "only for boys" is like saying Lego is only for boys.

It's really just mind-boggling how there are people out there that just DESPISE the idea that video games should only be played by men who were old enough to have played the NES as kids.

I know right?
My cousins tried telling me something similar to this. But with clothes. Telling me I should only wear frilly dresses and skirts and pink and stuff. Mostly because our family believes being Homo/Bi is a sin and even the slightest thing, even a girl wearing boys jeans, sets them off and they start hating on us.

I agree minecraft is gender neutral. Hell, ALL games are gender neutral.
